[!bible]- James 4:11-13 !Jas 4#11..13
One of the most known bible verses is about not judging, this could be its source.
But there are times and things we should judge.
How do we talk about people that we don't like? How do we speak about someone who has hurt us
Luke 6:45? ~13min mark
When we speak negatively about someone it usually stays. How so? No matter what they do they will be tainted by what we say. We call someone a moron once. But when they mess up again in our mind they are just a moron.
We judge others bases on how we feel they are inferior to us!
Look where gossip and slander fall. Right after murders. This is serious!
James connects slander to judgment. To judge is to condemn!

There is only One who can judge.
Matt 7:1-6 !Matt 7#1..6
When I am riddled in sin why am I trying to correct someone else sin.
But God if rich in grace and mercy!
We should look inward first before we confront someone!
Things to think about:
- What captures more of our hearts wonder; God's mercy towards us, or other peoples specks of sin?
- We will practice repentance more that talking about other peoples sin, when we receive the gospel fully. 2. 1John 1#9
- No we can gently and lovingly come alone to our brothers and help then deal with their speck.
This is the good way to judge! !Gal 6#1..2
