Mark 14:1-11

Mirrors Mark 12 the widows offering

John 12:1-8

??? Could be that these are two different events!

Verse 1-2

The say they can not do it over the feast yet that is when they do it because judas gave them an offer they can refuse.

This all happened according to Gods plan!

Psalms 2

We need to fully believe the Sovereignty of God!

Verse 3

This is right after Laseraus was raise. So this was a party!

300 denarii was about a year's worth of wages.

This was use either as a dowry or supporting a woman if she becomes a widow.

Think of sahra? who wanted a baby just to give the child to the temple.

Verse 4

We need to be excited when people give to God. We don't need to be indignant about what God called us to do.

Verse 5-11

Jesus rushes to her defense.

Psalms 16:12 - A wonderful rhetorical question
