Testing produces steadfastness (perseverance)

Why do we find joy in our trials

1. Testing is what refines us!
   1. 1 peter 1:6-7
   2. We are refined much like gold or silver is refined
   3. 10:20
   4. In our suffering we are being drawn closer to God
   5. Isa 43:1-2
2. Suffering strengthens our faith
   1. We discover if we have genuine faith!
   2. Rom 1:17
   3. Faith is like a muscle, as we stretch it we strengthen it
   4. 1 cor 1:8-9
   5. Psa 73:23-25
3. Steadfastness finishes the race
   1. Steadfastness is one of the best badges to the christian faith
   2. You are contently in prayer

   4. Let us look like shad meshak and benny
   5. Trials are a joy when God is our goal!
