[!Bible]- James 1:12-18 !Jas 1#12..18

Usually when we are in any trial we withdraw from our ministry. We assume escaping the trial is more important than gaining the crown of life!

We have a greater value in gaining maturity in Christ.

Is Christ still worth trusting in these trials:

  • A unfaithful marriage
  • Loss of loved one
  • When you finances are a wreak
  • When we are mocked
  • when we loose everything YES

When God has not given us an answer we ask ourselves, "is it worth it?" YES

The crown of live is always worth it!

When in trials, we need to seek out the promises of God! "your promises are yes and amen".

Many people believe God temps us. But this is not true.

!Ps 29#2

If we are being tempted, James holds a mirror to show us who is tempting us. We have to take responsibility over our own lives.

22min mark, as Christians we should not be continually giving ourselves over to sin.

See David as an illustration for how sin and lust creeps in and causes us issues:

When we are in desperation mode remember all good comes from God!

When we have heart breaking pain we remember that God has perfect and good gifts for us!

The word of truth is the Gospel: He saved us!!!

He saves us so that

What is our picture of God when we go through trials? Do we see Him as perfect and making us holy? Do we trust him in the trial?
