+While there are some things that are fine to debate about Gen. The one thing we can not debate is that God was created.
+

+God out of nothing created all things. 
+
+The name of God here is ***Elohim***, which is plural. Here we get a glimpse of the trinity!
+
+"In the beginning" is our beginning. God the father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit was there for an eternity before.
+
+Gen 1:1-2 also represents our story of God creating a new man when we come to him.
+
+Even when we don't understand all things we still praise Him!
+
+In the beginning there was chaos. And we start to see the shaping of the chaos in verse 3. 
+
+The term hovering has the idea of a eagle brooding over her chicks.
+
+Just in these two verses it shows God divine nature in bringing order to chaos.

+If we see that God is worthy of all honor and glory, we must choose to believe the things we do not understand.
